Welcome to the Haitian American Nurses Association of Tampa (HANA of Tampa)!

It is a privilege and honor to serve as the 2025–2027 President of HANA of Tampa. Our organization is a vibrant community of nurses, healthcare professionals, educators, students, and leaders united by a shared commitment to serving our communities. I look forward to working alongside each of you as we continue to serve, promote, and educate through the mission of HANA.

I am truly excited to work with our current and future members as we continue to grow HANA of Tampa into a premier professional network for Haitian American healthcare professionals in the Tampa Bay area. HANA of Tampa was founded on the belief that when healthcare professionals unite around a common purpose, we can strengthen the nursing profession while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the communities we serve.

As President, my vision is to lead a thriving and engaged organization committed to professional excellence, cultural pride, and community service. Together, we will expand membership, promote professional development, increase our visibility in the community, and strengthen partnerships that foster leadership, collaboration, and lasting impact.

At HANA of Tampa, we believe our greatest strength lies not only in our professional expertise but also in our shared commitment to service, collaboration, and community empowerment. If you are looking for an organization that will help you grow both personally and professionally, I invite you to join us as a member, partner, supporter, or community advocate.

We meet every third Saturday of the month and offer numerous opportunities to connect, serve, and give back to our communities both locally and abroad. Our annual gala and leadership convention celebrate the accomplishments of our members while investing in the next generation of nurses through scholarships and mentorship.

I look forward to serving alongside you and building an even stronger HANA of Tampa. Together, we will continue to make a meaningful difference in our profession and in the communities we proudly serve. We are HANA!

Sincerest Regards,

Dany Fanfan, Ph.D. MSN, RN
